I painted this to remember a fun birthday trip I took with friends to Lloret de Mar, Spain.
We were sitting there, and my friends finally convinced me to try oysters! To be honest, I didn't actually like the taste - but I loved everything else about that day. I loved the Spanish sun, the crisp wine, the laughter, and the great time we spent together.
I used bright colors and bold brushstrokes to capture that happy "vibe" and the feeling of being on vacation with my best friends.
